The Tire Rack SCCA Street Car Shootout is your ticket to high-octane fun, where car culture meets adrenaline-packed competition. Designed for drivers just like you who want to explore the performance potential of their build by combining autocross and Time Attack elements into one fast and fun event.
Why You’ll Love It This isn’t just about racing – it’s about the joy of driving, the thrill of competition, and the camaraderie of the car-loving community. Whether you’re tackling tight corners, hitting apexes, or swapping stories in the paddock, this event celebrates everything we love about cars.
How It Works
· Friday: Arrive at the venue, check in, and settle in for a weekend of motorsport excitement while sharing stories and comparing builds with fellow enthusiasts.
· Saturday: Show off your autocross skills! Take on four runs in the morning and four more in the afternoon, with the afternoon course running in reverse.
· Sunday: Hit the track for four exhilarating Time Attack sessions, including a practice round to dial in your lines and get up to speed.
Your total score for the event is calculated by combining your top morning autocross run, top afternoon autocross run, and fastest track lap. The competitor with the lowest combined time takes home the win – and the bragging rights!

Any car that would be eligible within the following SCCA Solo classes is invited:
· Street Touring (ST)
· Classic American Muscle (CAM)
· Xtreme Street
· Club Spec Classes, including SSC
But Wait, There’s More…
For those who need that chase, and just can’t get enough of a good thing, each event is part of a six event championship series! The Tire Rack SCCA Street Car Shootout Series Champion for each class will be decided by taking each driver’s top four finishes from any of the seven events across the country. Will it be you?

Registration Information:
This event requires a unique car number for every driver; there will be no number duplication allowed, regardless of class/track group (example: there cannot be a 99 SSC and a 99 STS- each entry will require a unique number).

Event requirements
You must be an annual SCCA Member in good standing in order to run this event. Please visit my.scca.com to join or renew.
What is your ON TRACK experience group?
Novice: Passing only on the straightaways with a point-by. If you have minimal previous track experience or you prefer passing only on the straightaways, this is the group for you!
Intermediate: Passing anywhere with a point-by. Drivers with track event experience, including TNiA Advanced or mulitple Intermediate group participation, would be eligible for this group.
Advanced: Comfortable with no point-by required for passing.
